There isn't one correct price for a website.
A simple five-page business website and a large e-commerce platform are completely different projects.
The price depends on what you're actually building.
A simple website might need:
A homepage. An about section. Services. Contact information. Location. Social links.
Another business might need:
Online payments. Bookings. Customer accounts. Inventory. Multiple languages. Custom integrations.
Those are obviously different projects.
The important question isn't:
“How much does a website cost?”
The better question is:
“What do I actually need my website to do?”
If all you need is a professional place online that tells people who you are and what you do, you probably don't need a massive website.
Start with what you need.
You can always build on it later.
